English Exam 7

For this assignment, i chose a slice of life. I did this, because i think i am really good at writing these and have a lot of experience with it. Some of them are really bad and some of them are outstanding!



                                         Going to the Mall

Last weekend I was in my room playing my Xbox and then my mom barges into my room and said in an exited voice,” we are going summer shopping!” I was really surprised that we are going so early to get summer clothes. I asked her where we are going, but she said it was a surprise. I hoped of my game, got dressed and was ready to go! As we were driving we saw a lot of things. Like a very nice corvette and not so exiting, a truck crash. About an hour into our drive, I saw a sign that said,” Welcome to Syracuse” I knew where we were going. When we got to the mall it was the one I thought of, Destiny USA. All of my brothers were so excited! When I got out of the car, it was blazing outside! As we made our way into the mall, we saw a lot of nice cars. There were some people in the front wanting to sell some Girl Scout cookies, but I told them that I wasn’t really hungry. As we went through the doors I saw the beautiful mall. We started on the first floor at the store Against All Odds. Most of the time we were there, we were getting my brothers stuff. We went shopping for about three hours. And it was also my dad’s birthday! We went to the Cheesecake Factory for his birthday dinner. I ordered a hamburger, and when it came, it was huge! I ate all of it but after that I was way too full. I had to bring dessert to go. As we made are way home, we were listening to some awesome music. It was a great day!

I would define myself as a great student! Even though sometimes I can mess around and talk to my friends. If I work hard, i can achieve my goal. At the beginning of 7th grade, I didn't have no writing skill and I was really afraid to talk to the class. Now i am a very good reader and I don't get scared at all when I talk to the class. You have been a great teacher and I will miss all the fun that was in the class.
